Twin Firs Ranch specializes in Quarter Horses and occasionally some paint and grade horses for cattle events, trail and ranch work. All horses are guaranteed sound, healthy, and up to date on everything unless otherwise noted. We do take trade-ins and offer some payment plans. Amber’s Honey. (Honey)1991, grade, Dunalino, quarter horse mare. Finished cutter being shown at local club showings. Excellent in the Sorting Pen as well for anyone. Super stop and exceptionally cowy. Great for any level rider. This mare is extremely broke and loves the trails as much as the cattle. Ridden by a 5 year old on the trails. Rancher Bueno Gold. (Sunny) 2005 AQHA /NFQHA (eligible) Palomino gelding. A great hip, tremendous body, and excellent bone and feet make Sunny a good one. We hope he will be a dark palomino like his sire. Sunny is gentle and has been handled extensively. Bred and raised on the ranch he is by Rancher Gold and out of Rey Jey’s Bueno Gal.  His bay dam is a finished cutter and extremely athletic. She is a granddaughter of both Handle Bar Doc and Rey Jay on the top side, with Sugar Bars and Peppy San Badger breeding on the bottom. A son of Rancher Gold and by the good black AQHA mare, Docs Winner Gal, an accomplished Wimpy bred roping and all around rodeo horse. RW is a dark smutty buckskin colt that will shed to a dark gold/bronze color as a 2 year old. He has a transverse dorsal stripe that will probably remain. Perfect for team penning and sorting, or take her to the barrels. This mare is gorgeous and put together with all the muscle you would ever need. No stranger to long days in the saddle. Smoothie is a very broke mare that takes her leads, sidepasses, has fast spins, changes leads like a million dollar reiner, with big stops and also lopes a beautiful circle fast or slow.  This is a very nice black, black, black, AQHA broodmare by an own son of Doc Tom Tucker. She is bred to my golden palomino stallion, Rancher Gold, Dream Horse ID 579678, for a July 2007 baby. She is pictured with her 2006 palomino filly which is also by Rancher Gold. This mare puts beautiful and very correct foals on the ground, with pretty heads and huge hips. She is not broke to ride.
